Empowering Both Mother and Baby: A Gentle, Collaborative Approach
At the heart of my practice is a deeply held belief that, as a mother, you are the true expert when it comes to your baby. No one, not even the most seasoned professional, knows your little one like you do. You know how they like to be held, you notice the subtle shifts in their moods, and you understand how they respond to the world around them. Yes, it’s completely natural to seek guidance—helpful, even, to gather wisdom from those who've walked the path before. But at the end of the day, in the hush of the in-between moments, when it's just you and your baby, you already know. You see the little nuances that others might miss, and you understand their needs and their heart in a way no one else can.
Just as you are wise, your baby is too. Babies are born with incredible instincts that guide them in the most beautiful, intuitive ways—especially when it comes to feeding. From their innate ability to find your breast and latch, to the way they signal when they’re hungry, sleepy, or simply in need of comfort, they are naturally attuned to what their bodies need. It’s truly amazing.

Breastfeeding can be a deeply transformative partnership—a quiet duet, a sacred dance—between mother and baby, each gently guiding and nourishing the other in ways both seen and unseen. It's a bond rooted in trust, deepened with every shared moment—snuggling, suckling, and learning from each other.
Respecting Your Unique Journey: A Holistic, Personalized Path to Feeding
I recognize that every infant-feeding journey is uniquely its own, as no two experiences are ever quite the same. Our paths are shaped not only by our baby’s needs, but by our own health, our home environment, our cultural beliefs, the resources at our disposal, and the values we hold dear. The support—or lack thereof—from our partners, extended family, community, and healthcare providers can make all the difference too. Sometimes, it's the strength of a village that holds us up; sometimes, it's the quiet resilience of doing it mostly on our own. Whether we’re breastfeeding, hand-expressing, or pumping; supplementing with donor milk or formula; using cups or bottles; or a mix of all of the above, each of us must find our own rhythm and our own way, overcoming challenges that are deeply personal. In the end, what matters most is not perfection, but presence. That we are attuned to our children, and that we respond with love and care—because that’s what they truly need to thrive.
With gentle, holistic support rooted in evidence, I’m here to walk beside you—to help you find what feels right and what works best for you and your baby. Together, we’ll navigate this beautiful, sometimes challenging journey with tenderness, patience, and a deep respect for your well-being—body, mind, and heart.

My Story
I became a mom for the first time in 2004, at 27. I was over the moon, picturing a smooth, seamless natural birth—until reality knocked me back to earth. After a traumatic emergency C-section, I found myself not only battling the baby blues but also facing a full range of breastfeeding challenges. The first few weeks postpartum felt incredibly isolating. To make matters worse, my sweet boy struggled with colic for what felt like an eternity. The days seemed long, and the nights stretched on even longer. The only thing that could soothe him, even briefly, was being held in my arms as I danced.

While my body bounced back faster than I expected, there were days when I thought I might lose my mind...
